Information:
Mog Locker Expansion

The Mog Locker was introduced for the convenience of players exploring the new areas of Aht Urhgan. In order to preserve in-game balance, the Mog Locker was given an initial capacity of 50 items and limited to use in Al Zahbi. Even more players than expected have begun to use this service, so we decided to eliminate some of the restrictions on the Mog Locker during the next version update.

1. Maximum capacity increased to 60 items
Following the next version update, trading Aht Urhgan currency to Fubruhn in Aht Urhgan Whitegate will allow you to increase your Mog Locker capacity to hold 60 items.

2. Access expanded to areas outside Al Zahbi
You will soon be able to use your Mog Locker in your Mog House from anywhere in Vana'diel after the completion of certain free procedures. However, these procedures will slightly shorten the length of a Mog Locker lease, which costs one Imperial bronze piece to renew. In addition, the remaining time on the current lease will be proportionately reduced. Of course, you can always choose to make your Mog Locker usable only in Al Zahbi once again.

3. Mog Locker lease renewable from any area
In accordance with the Mog Locker access expansion, players will also be able to renew their lease for one Imperial bronze piece from a Mog House at any location.

How significantly do you believe that these changes are going to cause in the balance of the game? while more space is always good do you think that its "fair" that the new expansion storage should be available in all areas?

doing this i believe will cause people to set their home point back into the general zones decreasing trafic to the new zones which will not "force" people to go there which may cause a decrease entirely in people going through the expansion as much.

Increasing the mog space and accessable from anywhere also has its advantages. people can now pick up more jobs and have the "good" gear without having to mail it to themselves or to their mules causing an increase in gameplay due to people not being as limited.

i sort of ran out of ideas so far on the discussion of this so discuss it and i will jump in whenever i get a chance. please post up whatever you can related to this topic and lets keep this discussion going until next week when i get some new news which we will discuss. :)

new members who are after a way to get more TU bucks to buy a premium be an active member and help the discussion going, this will increase your bucks and be more active but dont spam the topic because i will delete the posts

lol love the cartoony.

About the mog locker expansion... I think its a great idea... less mules, less transfers, buy more gear, etc.

Now being more accessible... thats a double edge sword. While its great to not have to go back to the new areas to access lockers, I can see ppl not going to new areas period. If they made more ways to get to the new area without a 15min boat ride, and once a day ring... then I think that may solve the problem and keep accessibility in the new areas.

well, thats my 2cents. ^^

More space is really cool....Items take up soooo much space.

I always have full BLM gear on my main - that's 65 pieces, add random R/EX items for other jobs...Plus gear for whatever I'm playing at the time.....

Yep - more space: {Yes, Please!}

I'm very happy about the locker expansion :D

I'm hoping that having access to a locker in all areas will decrease the traffic in Whitegate some.. It's really laggy on my server

I like the mog expansion idea. It's convenient. But it has never been a huge factor why people set hp in whitegate for me. personally it's the ease to get to hunting camps and the ease to get to jeuno. to lower the traffic, they should add a warp NPC in jeuno that warps you to white gate too.

The new areas are rediculously crowded during prime time. Unless S-E introduce travelling method similar to runic portals and give old area similar EXP bonus, it will continue to be this way.

wow a warp npc in jeuno is a great idea but since its not in the new zone the more specific one to warp should take gil. sucks that drops arent like in wow and randomly the "Bad" warp taru could drop you higher into the air so you fell to your death because of a miscalculation lol
