What happens to you when you get caught? : FFXI General Discussions

What happens when you get caught botting for the first time? Is it a suspension or account deletion? If I wanted to could i explain that my brother was fishing for me and did not know how to read or send a /tell?
Or could I possible use the excuse that I was fishing via picture in picture with the movie being in the bigger screen and the small screen being too small to read a /tell? I was justhing thinking of excuses in case i get caught =P

you where watching a movie on the TV next to your PC, or on your PC next to your TV and you where hitting a macro and using the sound to determine when to pull up.

SE have the means to Stop people using programs like this, i have a had few talks with GM's and they all say the same thing, you CAN use programs and scripits as long as you DONT go AFK, if your at your PC you can use them and they are Powerless against you., this is why SE dont stop you from using these programs

if you read the rules on there site it even tells you make sure you turn off NON GAME Macros/bots if you go AFK

so as long as you dont afk, you'll be fine
