No offense to you, but CHR has no affect on enmity.

My opinion on PLD race:

For experience parties, Taru is nice. They have more MP to cure themselves with; therefore, they can generate a bit more hate.

For endgame (I'm not there yet, but this is what I hear), HP is the important stat, so Galka would probably be best.

All around, Elvaan are the best. They still have high HP and high VIT, but do have higher MP than Galka and the highest MND in the game.

Mithra are the worst Paladins.

fyi the reason PLD's use +CHR is to increase the activation rate of killer effects. There's an awful lot of CHR on some of the endgame pld gear.

Yeah but over all with stats and everything Elvaan is best MVP PLD in the game.

pt'd with a galka tanked that sucked, pt'd with a taru tank that whipped !@#$%^&*, made the smn healer whip out some DD because he never had to cure, specially with all the MP regen plds get today.

In the end Taru >>> all.

just pt'd again today and had an elvaan pld that couldnt compare with the taru one, and he was pretty good, and finally... same as before

Lol; I would accept it (Tarus do rule), but it would ruin the fun.

for looks; taru > other races

but in the end : player skill + gear > race + looks

there is no one answer as to what is the best race to be as X job. all have their strengths, weaknesses, and playing styles. trust me, you will get more invites for being a good tank, and not looking cute. anyways, just about any race looks pretty elite in full PLD AF and following armors.

some stuff does apply but yeah , skill >>> everything else. and skill with a paladin involves using mp, which tarutaru have more of. kind of giving them an edge.

agree'd on the tank thing, but now pld gets sooo much refresh its almost unfair

It really depends on what you're looking at, some things will destroy PLD that wouldn't a NIN, and some things will Destroy NIN that wouldn't a PLD. I'd say about 80% of things end game can be tanked by PLD, and 70% NIN.
