hi guys anybody can tell me which laptop is good for ffxi ? i want to be mobile so i decided to buy a laptop and sell my tower... and i dont want to have much lags, so i am not sure which one is goo for ffxi...

Yea i am going to buy a laptop and final fantasy 11 but im only getting a laptop from walmart so if it is not fast enough i am going to transfer it to my fast computer(the one im on right now) but i will still keep my laptop for other uses.

WHy not search the internet and get a custom built laptop built for gaming? The laptops you find today from the main manufacturers such as Compaq/HP, Gateway, and Dell (XPS series excluded), they tend to lack a good graphics card that won't lag out in the game. Most of their base laptops have onbord graphics cards which won't be able to handle the game well enough to play it. Dell has their XPS series however, it is extremely expensive for what you are getting. Somewhere along the 2k + range for a laptop is expensive. The laptop I had built for me was from one of those companies that build high performance gaming computers/laptops that you customize. I have an AMD Turion 64 2 Ghz processor with Hyper Transport, 60 GB Hard Drive, and 2 Gigs of ram. The Video Card is an ATI Raideon X700 with 128 MB of RAM and the game only lags in Dynamis, Besieged, and when first loading up in Whitegate cause 500 pepole stand at the moghouse.

blue is right never , ever, EVER!!!!!SHIFTONEangryeleven, buy a normal pc, i did this and i wasted my money... media center pc m7590n. i truely suggest u just go with dell and tell them what u wana use the pc for and theyll build it for you. get the warranties cuz there so worth it. i bought thisp c n i upgraded the graphics card but it still is horrible -.- just go with a custom made one by Someone else and stress that your just a gamer.
