When i POS into sky ffxi just like crashes for some reason. My FPS on windower will drop to like .9 and my /lmes takes literally 2 minutes to load up and i cant move my character.. I have no idea why it is doing this. Yet my friend can log onto the same account and it doesnt crash for him. I checked running ffxi without the windower also and it does the same thing i just don't know. Anyone have any solutions?

Try checking files with pol. That said...a corruption that doesn't just kill the game is pretty unlikely.
One thing to do is get your friend to come round, try to go into sky with his account. That will show you that it really is your copmuter that's screwed up.

If it works on your friend's but not on yours it is most likely a corrupted file on your side. Run a file check or reinstall if that doesn't work.

Are you using the updated version of Windower... the same thing was happening to me with the warptarus(everytime i tried to use one of them like the one in Aht Urgan it would immediately knock me off.
so, i dl-ed the newest version and now its fine except when i run 3 accounts the windows get kinda buggy and weird.

this is a known issue on se server side.
i had this problem, and its fixed now.
what you need to do is on the pol start up screen when u xhose ur alilas you need to scan your files. this will check ur main files then download new ones of any have been curropted, ^^/
if this doesnt work you will have to reinstall ff.

The problem is with your soundcard.
I too have the same problem.
I'll bet if you completely disable or uninstall your soundcard (not just mute your volume) and go into sky everything will work perfect.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it, I just disable my soundcard before I go into sky.
