XUnleashed & 3DAnalyze HOW TO~? : FFXI General Discussions

Ya comp dun have T&L and you need to emulate T&L via 3DAnalyze?

However you have tried Xunleashed and doesnt work?

No worries... this guide will help you use Xunleashed with 3DAnalyze (and possibly other programs that has hooks in it)

Setting Up 3D Analyse to Work with FFXI -
1. Download 3D-Analyze 1.68 (this version is most stable with FFXI)
2. Open 3D-Analyze 1.68 click on EXE (marked with 1. next to it), and select folder (Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\POL.EXE)
3. Click on DLL Path (Marked with 2. next to it), and select folder (Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\FFXiMain.dll)
4. Tick on Emulate HW TnL Caps.
5. Then click on "Save Batch File" save the file onto desktop or something, this will act as a short cut key, which will open and configure 3D Analyse therefore you dont have to do it everytime.

6. To change the resolution and configs, do everything above except for Step 2, instead of POL change it to (Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ToolsUS\FINAL FANTASY XI Config.exe)

Setting Up XUnleashed -
1. Open up XUnleashed
2. Go to tab Options
3. Scroll down to FFXI Online
4. Launch path will be (Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\POL.EXE)
5. DXFile (HOOK1): pol.exe
6. DXFile (HOOK2): FFXiMain.dll
7. Windowed option works if you would like to turn it on. (Make sure you have your resolution set 1 resolution lower than Windows Screen Resolution).

Now how to make them work together?
1. Open up the batch file for POL Via 3DAnalyze (made in step 5 in setting up 3D Analyze)
2. Now, open Xunleashed while POL is still up and click the Play button
3 Xunleashed will do its stuff like updates and stuff then will say "Launching" there will be no POL popping up....
4. switch back to POL screen, and continue to log into FFXI and it will run perfectly with 3DAnalyze emulating TnL and it will run with Xunleashed and give you the menu bar on the bottom.
