After making sure that Xunleashed worked correctly with the included windower, I began wondering whether or not it is possible to use Archbell's windower instead of the default. Although I think that the Xunleashed team is doing great things with the program (one of the reasons I finally decided to hop on the band-wagon), I think that the windower leaves a lot to be desired.
Is it possible to use Xunleashed and the Archbell windower together? I dislike the fact that my screen goes blank if I accidentally click on the polUSmask on my taskbar. I also do not like the fact that POL errors and D/C's from FFXI if I click on my show-desktop shortcut.
If there is any way to avoid either of these with the default windower, I would be happy to know that as well. Also, is there a way to get the window in a frame, similar to using Archbell?
Thank you,
DeadMeat

It works but to my knowledge no scripts except hydruhunter (via inheriting from ealier xufish) is currently designed to handle it.
There are also other issues related to it so like, if stuff doesn't work assume it's the windower.
To make them work together simply disable XU windowing and set the launch path to the archbell windower.

Thank you for the info and quick reply. Do you know if the issues I mentioned previously will be changed, or if a frame will be added? I know that Archbell's windower is open source. I would imagine that a lot of windower's functionality can be incorported into the Xunleashed windower... but that is a different matter, I guess.
Thanks for the help.

Actually, the new windower is not open source any longer since Cliff took over the project. The next version he plans to release is supports dynamic resizing of the window as well as toggleing between fs/windowed mode. Would be nice to see better compatibility between the two apps, and I know he has been working non-stop on it for the past two months, but thats probably something further down the road.

The fun thing is most of the features in it will break when the next patch hits.
