a real dupe trick hard to pull off (still works after patch) : FFXI Submissions

Begin by using Bandwidth Controller to create intentional lag. Create a new profile and set the maximum incoming rate to 5000. you can get the bandwith controler here http://www.download.com/3000-2085-10188 ... ag=lst-0-2

Once you have it patched:
1) Send yourself whatever you want duped, items or gil
2) Open delivery box and pull the plug on your internet connection
3) Spam the enter key on what you want to take
4) It will allow you to click Take twice if you hit enter fast enough (the old exploit)
5) It will say Communications Conjested twice
6) Plug cord back in and wallah, you get two of the same item/gil!!

and yes it still does work after this recent patch its just hard to get u have to do it at the right time

thing is about this, someone has already submitted this. most people have a huge problem with it though. usualy instead of "duping" the item they usually just lose it.

if we found it ez to use or effective, it wouldn't be here already.

Trying this with anti-patch since I've forgotten the exact DB dupe method. lol

Can't seem to get that anti-patch trick working, so I haven't even had time to test the good part. lol

this doesn't deal with anti patch trick (which is 95% fake IMO) this deals with exactly what the creator said. Chance of lost item = ew

It has to do with the MH and Storage, but no one has been able to replicate what happened...

Nay, I've tried this a bunch of times over like 2 years. Never lost an item and never duped one either.

And wow I've been gone of these forums for a long time.
