Great Soloing Guide for a Ranger : FFXI Submissions

If you are playing a Ranger a good place to Lvl is near Windurst.

What I recommend doing first, is on your high lvl class start using a bow to bring up skill so that it's always maxed when you started playing your ranger.

From lvls 1-10 lvl in East Sarutabuta.
Kill onions, gobs, yagudo, fish....etc...basically anything that cons decent or even or better. It goes by pretty fast if you have the best bow.

From 10-13 lvl in Tahrongi Canyon
Kill basically anything thats even or decent.

From 13-20 time to go to Shakrami Maze
You can kill Maze Makers (Worms) here easily and get 200xp per kill. They cast Stonega, bind, stone, and rasp so it's a good idea to run up and shoot then run back until about lvl 15. This place goes by quick if you don't have any competition.

From 20-24
This is where the soloing ends. You can solo the Land Worms here until 24 pretty easily and then you'll have to group.

From 24-32
Head to Kazham and get a gorup in the jungle, exp is pretty decent and you'll lvl in no time hopefully.

I cannot stress this enough. Make sure you eat Mithkabobs. They help your dmg out alot when soloing and makes a huge difference. Also, make sure you have the best bow possible for your lvl. along with the best arrows.
