Setup and use instructions:
First thing to make sure of is that you are using either the FFWindower from this forum or that you are using azaril's windower along with the NameSetter program. If you are using azaril's with the Name Setter then you need to run name setter when you first load the pol screen that says play (for ffxi of course). The program works if you load it at any time with the game open, but it’s recommended by the creator that you do it at the POL Screen.
Next set the following macros:
Alt-7 = /fish
Alt-9 = /equip ammo “insert bait here”
Of course, “insert bait here” is the name of whatever bait you are using, how it is spelt IN THE INVENTORY, not the full name. For example, Composite Fishing Rod is abbreviated Comp. Fish Rod in the inventory.
Next make a copy of default.cds somewhere else and rename it to whatever zone you are going to be fishing in(and if you expect to use more then one rod in that area I would include the rod in the name i.e. qufimcomposite.cds).
Next open up your Iocaine Fish.mac file and look for the following line of code:

“cdsfilenamehere” of course being the name that you named the cds file you created. So, in the example we used it would read:

Next in the same file under constants change
CatchFishMode = 2 to CatchFishMode = 0
FishStatsProfile = 1 to FishStatsProfile = 2
KillFish = 0 to KillFish = 1
KillRandom = 0 to KillRandom = 1
Next click on Editor in the top menus, then preferences, then click on the tab for global hotkeys. Then click in the box for start and hit the insert key on your keyboard, a 045 will appear. Then click on the box for stop and hit the Home key on your keyboard, a 036 will appear. Make sure the checkbox for use global hotkeys is checked.
Next minimize Iocaine fisher and open ffxi using whichever of the two windower options I described above you want.
Next Position yourself for fishing.
Next hit the insert key on your keyboard, nothing visible will happen. Wait 5 seconds and hit alt-F1. Shortly you should see it use the macro in game you setup for fishing.
Keep in mind that since you are using fishing mode 0 you can/will catch monsters. Continue using mode 0 and fighting any mobs you catch until you have caught at least one of each fish/item you want to keep catching. To fight monsters just hit the Home key, fight them, then get in position, hit insert, and a few seconds later hit alt-F1 again.
There are 2 different ways now to get the ID's so you can fish only what you want and not worry about monsters or unwanted items. First is that after you hit the home key, if you then alt-tab to actools and then click on the test log tab you will see timestamps listing the name of the caught fish/item, it's hp, and it's ID1 and ID2 which are used to identify each catch. This is way is not really used anymore since UnknownCoder implemented the fishing profile system into the bot.
The second and better way. Open up your Iocaine Fisher.mac and go up to “Tools” at the top and select “cdsedit” this will open the CDS Editing program. Click load, then find the profile you just made and open it. You'll see a chart listing all the things you caught and what their ID's and hp ranges were. If you want to catch only certain things the in the column labeled "catch" change the 0 to a 1 in the row of every fish/item you want to keep. 0 = Don’t catch 1 = Catch.
Now change the catch fish mode to 4 and you will only catch the thing's you put a 1 next to.
