Note: This guide was written by me over the course of over 110 times taking people through it. It has been posted on a few select websites, mainly LS sites, under my character names. I choose not to reveal those names here, except in a PM to an Admin, so before you start claiming plagiarism, have an admin PM me for those names and sites, I'll quite happily provide links to the original posts!

This is the one where you are sent by your home town to Jeuno, and this gets you to Rank 4. It's pretty lengthy, so I would suggest printing it out.

Many people shout for help for hours to get high level help for this one: the only place you really need the help is on the 10th floor - if the high levels know that you will meet them on the 10th floor, they'll be much more willing to take the 10 minutes to help rather than the 45 minutes needed to run up there!

Preparation:
* Kill weapons in Qufim for a kaiser sword or buy one from the AH. Trade the sword to the "old man" NPC at the entrance to qufim to get the map to Delkfutts.
* You will need a stack of silent oils and a stack of prism powders - even if you have sneak and invis its advisable to carry a couple anyway.
* A scroll of instant reraise - saves having to start all over again.

Know your enemy:
You will meet various mobs on the way up. You should know which ones aggro and to what.

* Goblins. Gobbies aggro to sight, so you only need invis. Warning! Further up you will meet the Gobbie Furrier, a beastmaster type. It has a pet bat and the bat will aggro sound - if it hits you that will drop your invis!! Sneak too for these!
* Magic Pots. Pots will aggro magic only, you can drop sneak and invis and dance rings around them and they will ignore you. Cast any magic, including utsusemi or reraise, and they will hit you with Ancient Magic!! Safe area to rest, just cast away from them or use oils and powders.
* Demonic Dolls. Exactly the same as the pots, they aggro magic only.
* Gigas. Like the gobs, these detect by sight. They don't aggro sound but, like the gobs, the gigas beastmasters pet might aggro sound. Be aware!
* Bats. Bats aggro sound, period. As a beastman's pet (Gobbie or Gigas), they still react as they would normally and will aggro if they hear you. This is the opposite of a player Beastmasters pet which will attack only what it is told to..
* Bogy. The ghost type mob, you will find a few scattered around, sometimes with the name Phasma. These aggro sound or low HP, if your HP is in the yellow, they will aggro, even through sneak and invis!

Things to know:
On the way up there are several areas where it is safe to rest and to recast any spells needed. Stairs are almost always safe (there is one exception, which I'll cover later).

There are 3 telepoints you need to use on the way up. These will strip your sneak/invis, so don't move when you land until you've recast them. Also, if a mob is hitting you when you get on them, it may cancel the event and prevent you using them!

There are dozens of dummy teleports around - do NOT use these, they will send you back one or more floors! Pay attention to the walkthrough below and you'll be fine!

If you do get aggro, and you have reraise up, prepare to die safely. Run to a point where it will be safe to reraise and recast sneak/invis, don't die in the middle of the mobs if you can avoid it. If you skipped on the reraise but have a raiser along, the same holds true - die where they can safely raise you. If you skipped reraise and don't have a raiser along, it's called a "do-over" so it doesn't matter where you die, you'll be going back to the homepoint anyway.

Getting to Delkfutts
Do not do this run at night unless you are level 35+ - wait till daytime (in-game) to avoid the undead aggro (wights and bogys)

OK, here we go!
You've done the pre-reqs and just zoned into delfutts tower! First thing you do is check your map and find you don't have one! Bummer!

Don't worry, this is written for those who don't have a map!!!

First floor
You just zoned in - ahead of you is an intersection or crossroads - take the RIGHT path.

This brings you to a round room with a few gobs in it - only one exit, to the left ... take that.

Another round room with a pond and more gobs. Again only one exit ...

Long hallway next, with several bats. There is a turn to the left, ignore it. Straight on to a large room - head NNW here for the exit door, gigas and bats here.

Another long hallway with more bats ... again, skip the turn to the left and go straight

One more large room ... follow the right wall and turn sharp right at the end of it to get onto the first stairs.

Half way up the stairs you are safe from any aggro you didn't bring, so rest to fulll here!

Second Floor

At the top of the stairs, with sneak and invis back on again, you will see a tunnel opening due East in the wall opposite. Head in there.

You pass a couple of bats and come out in a large room with Chaos Idols (Dolls). Do NOT cast in here, they only aggro magic. Take the first left.

Long tunnel with a few gigas and bats - follow the left wall, don't take any of the right turns.

At the end of the tunnel is the next set of stairs, and safe to rest.

Third Floor

You start off in a hallway leading to a round room with more Chaos Idols. Got straight through into the next hallway.

This brings you out into a large room with Gigas, Bats and Gobs. Follow the right wall to the teleport.

Step onto the teleport and select 'yes' to use the device. If you are being beaten on by mobs, you won't be able to use it. You have been warned.

Fourth Floor

It's safe to rest to full by the teleport. Note that you just moved up a level in the toughness of the mobs. When ready, sneak and invis as required and start off down the tunnel.

The first intersection (G-8.), turn right.

At (G-9 ) is a room with a teleport - do NOT use it, take the door to the left instead.

In the room with the gobs at (H-10 ) follow the door to the East

The tunnel curves around to the north, and then dead ends - take the tunnel to the left (J-9 ) just before the dead end.

Take the first right (I-9 ), and then the first right again (I-8.),

Another dummy teleport at (J-9 ) - take the left tunnel instead.

At the end of the tunnel is the stairs, and a Magic Pot at the bottom. It will aggro magic so don't cast anything until at least half way up the stairs! There are Panzer Dolls at the top that also aggro magic, so be very careful!

Fifth Floor

From the top of the stairs, take the tunnel due West. Panzer dolls, Bats and Gobs.

Go straight through this hall, don't turn off. You will come out on a round room (G-7) with gobs. Turn left here.

There is Gigas in the hall and in the room at (G-9 ) - go straight through and up the stairs.

These stairs are the exception I mentioned earlier - there are more Gigas on the stairs!

Turn left up the straight stairs at (H-10) - these stairs are safe to rest on!

Sixth Floor

The first room is a large circle with a square in the middle of it. You enter from the South and need to exit from the North. There is only one other exit, to the East, which you should ignore.

A short tunnel brings you to another room of gobbies at (H-6) - turn left here.

Follow a long tunnel through another gobbie room at (F-8.) to the teleport room at (G-9 ) and hop aboard this one.

Once you arrive at the next floor, it is safe to rest if you need to, but do NOT move away from the teleport until ready. Bats and Gobbies!

Seventh Floor

Lots of Bats and Gobbies here. Head due North and up the stairs at (F-7 ). Yes, that was the whole floor!

Eighth Floor

Bats and Gigas on this floor. Head due East, following the left wall, to the stairs at (I-7 ).

Ninth Floor

Bats and Evil Spirits (bogy) in the tunnel. Sneak only for this part. Head down the stairs at (J-10 )

This is technically back to the 9th floor, but only accessible from the 9th. Read this part before you do it!!!

Sneak only for this part. There is a room at (H-10 ) with a couple of Jagd Dolls in it. There is a hole in the floor. If you fall through you go back to the seventh floor! Go around the hole and straight through to the stairs at (G-9 ).

Back on the 9th floor again, Magic Jar (pot), Gigas and Bats, so sneak and invis as required.

There are two tunnels at the top of the stairs, both will take you to the same room.

You come to another large round room with a square in the middle. Again, you want the North exit, and this time the dummy exit is to the West.

At (H-6) is a round room with Gobbies, Follow the tunnel to the left.

At (G-6) is a room with a teleporter, guarded by a Jagd Doll - hop aboard!

Tenth Floor

The area alongside the teleporter is safe to rest, and if you have higher level help coming, this is where you should wait.

There are two tunnels leaving the room, you want the one to the South East. Gigas and Bats in a short tunnel.

At (H-7 ) there is a cermet door guarded by a gigas named Mimas - he will check as an NM (Impossible to guage). He is, in fact, level 36 and will aggro to sight. One of your party will need to drop invis to open the door so do it behind his back.

This brings you into a large room with several gigas in it and one big ugly one named Porphyrion - he will also check as an NM (Impossible to guage). He is also level 36.

Clear the room or not, depending on the levels of your party, but killing Porphyrion will drop the required "delkfutt's keys"

Once everyone has one (respawn is 15 minutes if you need to kill him again), trade your key to the center of the circle in the floor at (H-8.) to take the elevator down.

There is no aggro here, it's all stairs, ten floors worth of them so just keep running all the way down! You will go through a couple of zones on the way down, roughly corresponding to middle and lower delkfutts, but your zone will remain as upper.

At the bottom is a cermet door. There is no aggro until you go through this door.

Basement

Once through the door, there is a large room with 6 exits (including the one you came in through). There are several gigas in here, but they won't go into the areas where the doors are unless you aggro them into there. Depending on your nation, you will need a different door, trade your key to the door for a cutscene:

* Windurst - M-7 - ENE from the door
* Sandoria - M-8 - ESE from the door
* Bastok - L-9 - SE from the door

The door to the North is for later missions, don't bother with it for now!

The exit is the tunnel in the South West corner. Once in the tunnel, there are some stairs down, a couple of bogies, stairs up again, a couple of pots, then more stairs back up to the first floor and another cermet door.

Once through the door, you are back on the first floor of delkfutts - bats and gigas here. Turn left, go past the stairs into a large room with bats and gigas.

Take the tunnel to the left. You will come to an intersection, turn right and run straight through to zone back out to Qufim!!

There are already a lot of guides on walkthroughs for missions/quests. I googles some stuff, but nothing big, so like 99% of it seemed original from what I searched... I'll give it a yay...

Even if it is original.. this stuff is accessable all over the web for free... I mean it's a great guide but if you google "Mission #, CityName" You get 500 guides.. go ahead and move it to guides but I don't think it's worth much--- I leave it up to other premiums..
