Note: This guide was written by me over the course of over 110 times taking people through it. It has been posted on a few select websites, mainly LS sites, under my character names. I choose not to reveal those names here, except in a PM to an Admin, so before you start claiming plagiarism, have an admin PM me for those names and sites, I'll quite happily provide links to the original posts!

So you're ready for an airship pass eh? Okies! I have broken this down into 4 parts by geographical areas. Essentially, you have a lot of running around to do in Jeuno, then you have to go to Davoi, Beadeaux (twice), and Castle Ostroja, so having teleports available is nice, but not vital, although it can come in handy for getting out and getting around too. Warp on the other hand is indispenable unless someone in the party has Escape ... I'll tell you how to get in to these places, but if you decide you're walking out, that's on your shoulders!

Required Items

* Tensodo membership, or a Tenshodo invite (AH under Misc- Others)
* A slice of coeurl meat (1 only), (AH under food - Ingredients)
* The mission opened
* About 2-3k spare gil for chocos (assuming teles, one each at Holla and Mea, two at Dem.

Part 1 - The Jeuno tour
This little trek starts off in RuLude Gardens, at your friendly local embassy. This is where you will start the mission, NOT in your home town. If you don't get the mission offered, trade crystals(1) until your rank bar is 3/4 full and try again.

Once the mission is opened, go to the palace, also in RuLude Gardens. Go in the door, straight up the stairs in front of you and target the door at the top of the stairs for a cutscene(2).

One of the Duke's aides will tell you to visit the Tenshodo. For this, go to Lower Jeuno to Neptune's Spire. For those that haven't noticed this before, it's the first door on the left before you go up the stairs above the AH. If you have membership, go on in, otherwise trade your invitation to the mithra behind the counter - you will get one back in exchange which you can sell back. Then go to the end of the hall and target the door at the very end.

Once in the main Tenshodo room, in the corner opposite the door where you came in, there is another door - go through and all the way to the back for a cutscene with Aldo.

Once you are done with him, go back out to the main Tenshodo room again, and right outside the door is a Taru named Sattel-Mansel. Talk to him next to make the agreement for the Quadav Charms in exchange for the key items.

Once done here, head to Upper Jeuno. As you come up the steps from the choco pit, there is a house in front of you to the right with an elvaan boy in the entrance, Baudin. Talk to him, then trade him the meat - watch out for his sister, she bites!!

Come out of Baudin's house and head towards the church. Once you get there, turn left up the sidestreet past the armorers shop and go to the end. There is a Taru child there named Payu-Sabyu - talk to him next for another cutscene.

Now head back to Lower Jeuno again, and go to the Gobbie Shop. Look for an NPC named Boghart standing outside if you don't know where it is. Go all the way to the back and find a Gobbie named Muckvix for your final cutscene and yet another key item.

OK, you are ready to begin your travels. There are no hard and fast rules about the order in which you do these as long as you do them all.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Notes
(1) Trade Crystals: Grab 4-5 stacks of cheap crystals from your mog, a mule, or buy them from the AH. Trade them to any Ducal Guard. There IS a guard in RuLude Gardens - as you come from the top of the stairs, he's the first NPC on the left.

(2) Cutscenes: This long mission has a lot of very long cutscenes in it. If you are solo, no problem, but if you are with others, let them enjoy the cutscenes. I normally stand to one side and ask people to come and stand by my when their cutscene is done so I can see who has finished and who hasn't.

Part 2 - Davoi

The easiest of the 3 by far! Items required for this: Invis or prism powders. A SMN or BST is helpful.

Zone into Davoi - I'm assuming you know where it is - and there is a gob NPC right in front of you. He's a grumpy gob, so don't even bother talking to him.

Go past the gob to where it opens up wider - notice on either side of the opening are two upright poles. Invis up here if anything checks EP. Go into the open area, turning right and follow the right wall - you will see another opening with upright poles - go in there. Straight up and you come to a T intersection - make a right here and get far back if you need to recast, otherwise just make a left and follow the path.

You will cross a bridge - keep going straight on to the next T intersection and make a left. Ahead of you is a camp area with a couple of higher level orcs. There is a transparent wall in the far right corner. You will need to drop invis to target it and go through - if you are being hit, it will NOT let you through.

This is where the BST or SMN come in - sic a pet on the Orcs to keep them busy for the few seconds you need to get through the wall. Sleepga will work too!

Once through, don't bother to recast, just run about 5 steps into the cave and zone.

Once you are in monastic Cavern, just run through - no aggro here - and click on the magicite for a looong cutscene and Davoi is done!!

Part 3 - Beadaux

Beadeaux has to be done in two parts, and you have to warp back to Jeuno in between them.

Zone into Beadeaux and go forward till you pass the grumpy gob NPC. Ahead of you is an open area. Quads aggro sound, and if you are low enough, pugs will aggro sight!

Follow the left wall and take the first turn to the left. Follow this around to the right and keep following the left wall. Do not enter any doorways if there's a closed door. You will come to an open tunnel leading down, follow this to the T intersection at the bottom.

First time through
Turn right from the T intersection and you will come to another. Turn right here also. In front of you is the mute - cast sneak if you need it then target the mute and get yourself silenced.

Head back out to the last intersection and go straight on. At the next T make a right and ahead of you is the afflictor - go to the right past it. From this point on, follow the left wall until you leave the tunnel.

Once out in the open again, follow the path till you come to another mute. Your silence should still be holding so go to the right of it and follow the right wall to the right of another afflictor.

Once you go under the bridge, stop, use echo drops and check sneak before you go up the ramp. At the top of the ramp, turn left and follow the right hand wall. This will take you half way around the map, so keep following, taking care not to fall back down into the lowere level area.

You will come to a place where there is a wooden fence with an open gateway in the middle of it - De'Vyu Headhunter (named Quad, level 45) spawns here on a 15 minute repop. Clear the links if need be, then kill him when he spawns. He will drop from 1 to 6 quadav charms - each person needing this will need 1 charm.

Once he's done, go on the way you were going before, do NOT go through the open gateway. Keep following the right wall till you come to another gateway which you go through. Follow the right wall again all the way around until you can go no further. This is the spawn area for Gho'Bu Gascon (named Quad, level 40). Once again, clear links if needed, then kill him. Again, the will drop from 1 to 6 augery shells - each person needing this will need 1 shell.

Once everyone has one of each of the R/E items, warp back to Jeuno, go to lower jeuno and talk to Sattel-Mansel again. Trade him the quadav items ONE AT A TIME - if you trade both together you WILL lose one! You will get the key items from him, then head back to Beadeaux again. Follow the steps in the intro to get to the T intersection, then continue with:

Second time through
Turn left at the T intersection mentioned at the beginning and almost immediately zone into Qulun Dome. You will come to a closed door, and all 3 items should glow brightly - go through, grab the magicite after another loong cutscene, then stick a fork in Beadeaux, it's done!

Part 4 - Castle Ostroja
This one is the easiest of all, but it's also the one with the most horror stories! While I was levelling WHM and first started doing these missions eons ago, we had a level 75 PLD come along to help on one trip. He decided that sneak/invis was too much hassle so he trained half the route on the second floor intending to mass kill them. It was saddening to watch a level 75PLD die to mobs that were "easy prey" to me at level 45! It isn't the quality in here that will kill you, it's the quantity! When I say sneak/invis here, I'm serious!

On zoning in, there is yet another grumpy gob. This area is safe so buff up and rest mp to full. There is no magic aggro on this one, so you can use magic where needed! Once ready, head forward to the intersection ahead and turn left.

Take the first archway on the right, and head straight across the courtyard following the wall to the left and through the arch on the far side. The tunnel curves to the right, take the first left after it. At the end on the left is the 2 level door.

This door is booby-trapped, so be careful. Stand directly between the two levers and target one, then run to the middle of the room - either the door will open (run through if it does) or the trapdoor will open. Just wait for the trapdoor to close then hit the other lever.

Once through, the mobs have gone up a phase in levels so check them. If the bats are twtbw then you won't need sneak at all this trip. If any yags check EP, you will need invis. Go into the room, to the right, up the stairs, round to the right and keep going to the t-intersection.

Turn right here, then follow the main hallways all the way through (ignore the turn off to the right up the stairs) until you come out on a ledge above the courtyard you crossed before the 2 lever door. Turn right and go into the archway ahead of you.

After a few more twists and turns you will come out on a ledge above an outdoor courtyard - watch out for the yags inside the rooms in the corners, they are higher level than the ones outside. Turn right and go through the archway ahead of you. This will curve to the right and then go down stairs again.

At the end of the stairs is another T-intersection. Turn right here and almost immediately there is an archway dividing the hallway into 2 - yags beyond this archway are higher level than those before it so start /checking again (levels 43-49).

Follow the right hand wall in this hallway (ignore all turnoffs to the left) west, then south then east again until you come to another archway with a room beyond occupied by two yags. Other than the bat that spawns in this archway, it is a safe place to rest.

The two yags ahead can either be killed or slept, your choice. There is a large door in the room with a torch stand either side. You have to position yourself in just the right spot to light the torch (either one), so if you get a message "out of reach" just move slightly and try again.

Once through the door, there is another T-intersection ahead - turn right here and head to the brass doors at the end. Simply click on these to open them and run through, there is a zone line just beyond them.

In the zone you will get another long cutscene, then run straight through and target the magicite for another even longer cutscene! There is no aggro after the last zone.

Stick a fork in Ostroja, it's done too! Head back to Jeuno, see the prince for your airship pass, then the ambassador for rank 5 and 10k gil - Congratulations!!
