More often than not, people focus on one weapon type. A perfect example is Warriors using only 1h Axe and then they need to skill up Great Axe around Lv60. It looks like a daunting task but it is actually quite simple.
First, find out what job level your skill level correlates to. For instance 100 skill would be ~lv33. All you need to do is fight monsters that would be the Lv33 exp mobs and they'll give you skill.
Now a problem arises if you're Lv60 War with skill nearing the cap, say 150-160, head to Boyhada tree and fight Robber crabs in the area of Aquarius with either a party or a high level or two. This will get you 200+ and eventually get you Francisca for use later. Make sure to always bring a few Jack-o-Lanterns as well because they are cheap food for 3hr's of 10+accuracy.

A very cheap and simple way to make some money is take a stack of Lightning crystals to the Music Shop in Bastok markets. Buy Flutes (cheap, around 15g) and desynth them into Parchment.
---------------------
(I'm sure this is common knowledge and won't even begin to get me anything, but someone who reads this might not know and will help them. I know I really dislike partying with my ninja.)
Ninja can already be soloed to 37, but a very simple method of doing so is subbing Beastmaster to it and act like one.
Charm setup- Monster Signa, Hope Ring(x2), Bird Whistle, any RSE that applies
Attack setup- Courage Ring(x2), Spike Necklace, Peacock Charm(if you want)
Try not to fight anywhere with abnormally strong-evasive creatures. Crawlers when applicable are nice to level off of. Stay away from Triple bats or many beastmen.
Use food that fits the need, atk food, acc food, or no food. Charm EP's and DC's and fight T's. Put up utsusemi and throw monsters at it until its low in health then tank away with blinking. Sooner than not, and without the occasional bane of parties you'll have your very own ninja ready for subbing. On top of all this, it is excellent practice for Utsu casting seeing as no one is there to back you up with a cure or voke.
-----------
Since one of the latest updates we haven't been able remove .dat files for whatever reason we want. Instead of removing them, simply replace them with something smaller to reduce lag. IE; replace Cure4 with Cure1.
Inversely, if you're camping something like Lizzy, change the lizard file to something like a CoP wyrm a to make all lizards more appearant and visable behind rocks.
