this is an exploit i used to do is when using windower
Once game is loaded tab out to desktop and click you digital clock on the tool bar and go too adjust date/time
first move the minuite hand 5 mins ahead while in game and run around if your speed hasnt increase tab out ajust 25 - 45 - 1 hr - 2 hr and so forth if you have done this exploit correctly you will gain a 30-40 second boost of speed
after the boost of speed has gone u must wait 15 seconds before retrying this
This has worked well many times however i no longer do it after being caught by anouther player who saw me (luckily i was thf at the time and just told him it was flee) and havnt done it since in fear of being caught, so do not use it in heavily crowded areas
Thx
Romanji

How the hell would this create a boost of speed? Your clock has absolutely no connection to FFXI, nor it's servers.... This shouldn't do ANYTHING to effect your speed, and tomorrow after school and work I'll prove it... And, if by the slightest chance I'm wrong... I'll decide whether to yay or nay it then....

Changing the system clock does work. We do, however, already have this here.

Can you explain HOW it could work then? I just don't see ANY connection to FFXI, and now it's driving me INSANE.... Lol
Seriously... You just destroyed my little world...........

Well yeah, this does work and has been around for a long long time.... it works because your PC starts trying to speed up to catch up to the time that the clock says it is. It won't do it if you set the clock too far ahead, but it will speed up EVERYTHING on your PC. Seeing as movement is client side then it will think moving 200x faster to catch up to where you're "supposed" to be

Yeah, that was already posted long time ago, and works, but beside this cannot be detected by POL kinda sucks, cos flee effect is too short and doesn't worth the work IMHO.
