Comprehensive Ban Evasion Guide Revised



Hi everyone, DocShifty from SwiftGames here. I thought I would drop back in and revise the little guide here for you. I wrote it a few years ago and it is still working it just needed to be updated a little.
To help you keep from getting repeatedly banned even when you are not cheating. As per Steam's TOS you are allowed to purchase the game again on a new account and continue to play. So EAC's HWID ban actually violates the Steam TOS.
There are a couple of options for those of you getting repeatedly banned without using hacks after you have been previously detected, or if you are getting banned rather quickly while your 3rd party software is quote "undetected". The reason for this is EAC is braking their own ULA by HWID & GUID banning people after you have been banned previously more than 3, 4 even 5 times. As I also mentioned they are violate the Steam TOS. After your ban you will, what I call be chain banned from that point on. No matter what you do they will link you to any new account created or used on that particular PC. You can follow the steps below to help avoid this from happening. Option 1.
1. Unistall Steam and all of its apps. Revo Unistaller. Google it.

2. Open cmd prompt and type "sc delete easyanticheat" without quotations "

3. Open Regedit Once you have opened the Registry editor hit ctr-f (Control-F) type in the search easyanticheat and delete the file.

4. Go to your Windows\System32 (32-bit) or Windows\SysWOW64 (64-bit) depending on your system and search for the easyanticheat.exe and delete that file as well.

5. DELETE everything inside the following folders:
1) <AppData>\Roaming\Steam\CODEX\
2) <AppData>\Local\Steam\htmlcache\
3) <SteamInstallDir>\config\
4) <SteamInstallDir>\dumps\
5) <SteamInstallDir>\logs\
6) <SteamInstallDir>\userdata\

6. DELETE the following files:
7.) <SteamInstallDir>\steamapps\common\Rust\RustClient_Data\output_log.txt
8.) <SteamInstallDir>\steamapps\common\Rust\RustClient_Data\output_log.last

7. To reset your IP follow these instructions.
1.) Unplug Modem Power Cord.
2.) Remove Internet cable from Modem.
3.) Change Mac Address of Router. Keeping number, numbers, and letters, letters.
4.) Turn Off your PC.
5.) Unplug Cable from PC and from Modem to Router.
6.) Plug Modem back in and wait for all the lights to come back on.
7.) Plug Cable back into router from modem.
8.) Plug cable back into PC.
9.) Turn on your PC.
8.) Check to make sure your IP has changed.
9.) Change your MAC Address of your windows adapters ( Software: https://technitium.com/tmac/ )
10.) If you are on windows 10, change your Computer Name ( The computer name looks like this: DESKTOP-AF84647 <---example )

11. Open Regedit and go here. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\CRYPTOGRAPHY\MACHINEGUID
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\COMPUTERNAME\ACTIVECOMPUTERNAME\COMP​UTERNAME
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\COMPUTERNAME\COMPUTERNAME\COMPUTERNA​ME
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Protect\Providers\Preferred
and delete this the machineguid file.

Option 2.
1. Clean install Windows.
2. Reinstall all your favorite programs ect. ( DO NOT install steam or Rust.)
3. Create a System Image on external drive.
4. Install Steam and Rust. (Then you are ready to start hacking again or play legit.)
5. That way you can Clean install often and just image recover and you are back where you started. Only No more EAC.
6. Got to part 7 above and reset your IP. I do not recommend using a VPN for a few reasons.

Addition to Option 2: I recommend a dual boot system. 1 HHD or SSD for your non-hacking drive and the other for hacking and fast post ban turn around. Take all your favorite games, utilities ect and put the installers in a storage drive. That way you can clean install and be back to the way you like it in a few mins. The other thing you can do is setup a system image with AOMEI or any other backup software. After a clean install just install the system image and you are back to were you stated from. Remember to not have Steam, Rust, or EAC on your drive when you take the image.
