Critters sticks her hand into the bucket of Feedback Form Submissions and pulls out the following questions:
General Questions
Q. My friend wants to give Tabula Rasa a try. Are there any trials available?
A. There is a trial available in our new Tabula Rasa Referral program. The referral program lets you send a 3-day trial to your friends. If your friend enjoys the game, and purchases a Tabula Rasa serial code and at least one month of subscription, then YOUR account will get a free month of game time added. For more information, please check out the Referral Program Instructions.

Q. I’ve submitted a ticket to PlayNC Game Support and they haven’t replied. What is taking them so long?
A. PlayNC Game Support is experiencing a delay in their response times due to high ticket volume. We hope to have this resolved soon, and in the mean time, suggest the following to players for in-game issues:
Once you submit a ticket, do not wait for the GM to appear in game. While we would like to assist you immediately, our high call times are making this harder to do. Simply continue with your progression in the game and if we don't get to you before you log out, update your ticket during your next login so we can assist you.
Also, make sure to check the email address associated with your PlayNC account for any workarounds or follow up correspondence regarding your issue.
Server/Technical Questions
Q. Can someone please explain what recent changes were made to the Network Ping indicator? What do these numbers mean exactly?
A. Previously, the network ping indicator displayed the time for a message to travel over the Internet to the server and back, plus the time for the server to process the message, plus the time for the client to process the response. In the most recent patch however, the number now shown is simply the time for the message to travel over the Internet to the server and back. Our previous method provided information in a way that was confusing and not useful. The new method should give players a much better tool to evaluate their network’s performance when they play Tabula Rasa.
Q. Should high network ping numbers worry me?
A. Not really. Ping times do not always directly relate to the performance you will see in game. Someone may have excellent responsiveness with higher ping times or have lag with lower ping times. Now, if you are experiencing lag or other game performance issues, our comrades over in PlayNC Technical Support have a Knowledge Base article containing suggestions to help assist you in resolving these issues. You can find this article here.

Q. Will Tabula Rasa be available for Macintosh?
A. Currently, there are no plans to implement Tabula Rasa compatibility with Macintosh systems. For now, Tabula Rasa is PC only. However, there are new Macintosh systems that may be able to run Tabula Rasa if they use a Windows Operating System. At this time, this setup is not officially supported.
Game Design Questions
Q. Regarding Ethical Parables, do the decisions I make now affect me later in game?
A. There is a branch at the end of the game. The choice you make determines which part of the story you are exposed to for a long series of missions. What those missions are, and what the branch is, I will leave to the player to find out….
Q. Will there be a way to change my last name?
A. Your last name is part of your reputation in the game. Without deleting all of your characters, there will be no way to change it.
Q. Will black and grey paint colors be added?
A. We know players have been itching for black, grey, and white paint dyes. We’re working on it and have some unique ideas on how you can obtain them coming up in a future build.
See ya on the battlefield!
