there are 2 passions in my life ATM 1 of wich is pathetically not women
1. My Eagle Talon TSI AWD wich I love and can pour endless amounts of cash into cause I love to break it and actually know whats goin on unlike 94% of the posts on this site.
2. Gaming (FFXI) and doing unproductive things like reading post I dont understand. Dont get me wrong I would love to but am too lazy/overwhelmed to try
The issue is college is coming up for me and I feel I have to make a big decision. Get a laptop that can play my games, or upgrade my turbo to a evo3
just wanted to share with a bunch of ppl I dont know, mainly cause I have no friends

There are better forums to discuss this at, such as for example any hardware review site or the http://www.futuremark.com/ community. They all seem obsessed with cars and computers. (I never understood it! )

I'd definately go with car. Simply for the fact that
when you get frustrated with games you can
just leave and go party to relieve stress. Unless you'd rather walk or have parents/friends
chauffer you there.

Well look at it this way.
What college are you going to. If its a major city college most likely a car would be a pain in the butt. IE people are going to break into it. You are going to have to pay a ton for gas / parking. The bus would be the easier thing to do.
However if you are going to a smaller college or maybe one that seems like most people drive around i would instead get a car because then you can first of all drive to all the parties and not have to rely on anyone. As well as take other people and get points for that.
Go visit the college and ask a few upper class man if a car up there is really worth it. That is the easiest way to figure out the solution to your problem.

Man I'd say spend good money on a computer and get a crap car at the same time. find some $300 clunker that moves. Problem is solved for local transport like from campus to party/home. Yet you still have your kick !@#$%^&* computer. I'm in my 4th year at college and I haven't needed a car yet. But then again my college kicks !@#$%^&*:)
