Do you Know How do Guild wars 2 beta keys work? : General Discussion

If i get a guild wars 2 beta key ,how does it work?When the full game is released will i have gw2 for free or will i have to buy it? are the keys only temporary? Will it be as if i bought the game automatically? thanks

If it is like most of the beta's I've played in over the last dozen years, the beta is free, so do your part to "pay" for it by answering any pop ups or questionnaires about quests, report any bugs or glitches to help the devs....

often a game will change dramatically from beta to release and you were on the inside, that gets you bragging rights:)

when the release comes you have to pay for it although you may be able to roll your character over into the live game and be a bit ahead of the other players in levels plus have a better knowledge of what to do and where to go
