Firefox Tweak of The Year! : General Discussion

About 1 year ago there was a tweak for firefox what speeded up the speed of your internet up for broadband users over 512kbps
That became a void tweak when Mozilla updated to 2.0.

Now there is a new tweak for 2.0+ users(I added abit off my own to increase speed, yes me XxXGoD)


This Tweak Does:
Fixes Firefox load Bug(Where a site will not load, and you have to refresh a few times)
Fixes RAM overeating, leakage(Used when Caching)
Reduces the amount of ram when minimised
More chance of success of loading when opened more than 5 tabs(Most people can open 20pages, this can enable you to open more)


Section 1
Step 1) In your Address Bar(Where you type websites) Type "about : config" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 2) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewer" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 3) Double Click the line at the top, just below Filter, and Change it from "-1" to "0" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)


Section 2
Step 1) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "network.http.pipelining" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 2) Check below Value, whether it says "True" or "false" if it says false double click the text "network.http.piplining" if it says true go to next step(WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 3) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "network.http.proxy.pipelining" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 4) Check below Value, whether it says "True" or "false" if it says false double click the text "network.http.proxy.pipelining" if it says true go to next step(WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 5) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 6) Check below Value, if it does not have the number "30" there, then double click whatever number there is, and change it to "30" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 7) Right click just below the number 30 in the big white area, and click New -> Interger and then type in: "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" press ok then press ok again when the 0 pops up (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step Right click just below the number 30 in the big white area, and click New -> Boolean and then type in: "network.dns.disableIPv6" press ok (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 9) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "network.dns.disableIPv6" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 10) Check below Value, whether it says "True" or "false" if it says true double click the text "network.dns.disableIPv6" if it says false go to next step(WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 11) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "content.notify.backoffcount" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 12) Double Click the number below Value, and change it to "5" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 13) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "plugin.expose_full_path" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 14) Check below Value, whether it says "True" or "false" if it says false double click the text "network.dns.disableIPv6" if it says true go to next step(WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)

Step 15) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "ui.submenuDelay" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 16) Double Click the number below Value, and change it to "0" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)



Section 3
Step 1) Right click just below "Filter" in the big white area, and click New -> Boolean and then type in: "config.trim_on_minimize" press ok (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 2) Where it says "Filter" in the box next to it type: "config.trim_on_minimize" (WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)
Step 3) Check below Value, whether it says "True" or "false" if it says false double click the text "config.trim_on_minimize" if it says true go to next step(WITHOUT QUOTE MARKS)(IF IT GIVES YOU THE OPTION TO CHOOSE TRUE OR FALSE, THEN CHOOSE TRUE)


Final Step - Go "File" (Top left of screen) and click: "Exit" now restart firefox!!!

NOTE: For section 2 step 11 + 12 if "content.notify.backoffcount" does NOT exist then copy section 2 step 7 but replacing "content.notify.backoffcount" and "0" with "5"
