Here's a couple Project Entropia and Conquer Online. I think both are completely free. You can check out one of the articles about Project Entropia at http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/12/14/1759253&tid=209&tid=187 it's pretty crazy...the market about MMORPG's. But to my knowledge neither of those have monthly fees or origination fees like Guild Wars does. So, for what it's worth...

You should try private servers...

World of Warcraft, Dark Age of Camelot, EQ1 all have private servers running with emus. Down load for free and play for free. Not as good as the real servers, but...
