Seems most of you people are new...
New XUnleashed version often run over their deadline, for whatever reason. Heck you should have seen how much the tault <> xunleashed merger ran over... (That was because the one contracter to do the site merge was an idiot.)
Please know that:
1) It will most likely not be 100% functional from day 1. Most likely it'll be beta quality.
2) It might happen that all scripts, plugins and services for your game suddenly isn't working anymore.
3) There's no way in hell there'll be leveling / camping / farming / fishing bots for your game on day one.
4) It will probably not be released within this week (it's monday where I'm posting atm btw), at least from watching the history of XUnleashed. Quite possible not for several weeks.
5) Just because there was a Guild Wars forum that doesn't mean XUnleashed had support for it. This community is more than XUnleashed nowadays, if it had anything back then I bet it had guides. If that wasn't satisfying you could have asked for a refund.
Chill, it'll come. One thing you need to realize about developers, they're always too optimistic about their release dates.
If a developer says something will be done in 2 months it'll take 3 months, always add 50% on their time estimates.

Honestly, when I worked at volvo a few years back they even had a name for it: "Project Factor Falcon". They added 42% time on all developer time estimates.

lol, well when i state a deadline i state an approximate date, and upon coming of that date, i state a final date of 2 weeks past when im SURE i'll have something done. If theres any doubt in my mind, i'll state another approximate date. Pretty much if i think something is gonna be done 2 months from now, it'll be done 2 months from now. But hwen your getting into things like hired help, and hack protection workarounds and stuff then i can see deadlines changing. The real concern here in this community is that the release date keeps being stated, and changed. If nothing is certain, it should just be stated that way. Apparantly 3 days ago it was 100%, he was using it, and it will be released tomorrow. 3 days later, nobody has even gotten a reply yet. I can see why people who have paid exclusively for this release are getting a bit edgy, but at the same time i dont understand why, if the new subscribers, arent happy with whats going on, they dont apply for a refund. After all, like you said, the releases for xu are always late, and the lifers here know this.....

Definetly not new here, I've been strung along and forgot to cancel my subscription last year even though xu did not have a working radar for daoc but it was always just around the corner............ I wouldn't hold out much hope on getting anything real, working, and somewhat safe in the near future.

I can understand that sometimes you have drawback, I am myself working on some scripts here but please keep the community informed, its not that hard to just post a little message saying for this or that reason we will postpone the release to this date...
If you keep the community informed you prevent at least half the post about complaits.
Just my 2 cents.

signed. being postponed is understandable (although this seems a bit much), keeping people completely in the dark is poor PR.

Is it possible for an admin to give use some feedback? Anything, even to say that you dont have any release date.
