Scam for Firefox users to get free money (and get me some) : General Discussion

This takes advantage of a flaw in an advertising service letting you earn anywhere from 45 to 75 cents per hour on your own for doing nothing.

You need Mozilla Firefox for this, get it at http://www.mozilla.org

Step 1: Goto: http://www.surfjunky.com/?r=foulplay2
Step 2: Sign up (Signup button at the bottom of the page)
Step 3: In firefox, go to about:config (put it in the url bar)
Step 4: Find "browser.xul.error_pages.enabled" set it to TRUE (double click)
Step 5: In Mozillagoto Tools > Options > Web Features > Advanced, and uncheck the first two options
Step 6: Goto http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-in ... ntswitcher IN FIREFOX and install the User Agent Switcher
Step 7: Restart Firefox (Close all Firefox windows then reopen it)
Step 8: Set User Agent Switcher to IE6 (Tools > User Agent Switcher > Internet Explorer 6)
Step 9: login at surfjunky.com IN FIREFOX
Step 10: Click Earn Money, then where it says "Click here to open the SurfJunky browser.", right click it and open in a tab
Step 11: Leave the tab open and it will give you 45 cents per hour while running in the background. (leave it running in a tab)

this little trick acts as a bypass to their prevention of mozilla/Firefox using it, by tricking them into thinking you're using IE6

I know to go up the first rank it's 100 points, it seems like it's about 1 point per hour, and your rate gets raised by 5 cents per hour. Assuming that it continues to increase at this rate (not positive if that is the rate it increases at), you would make about:
$435 in the first month
$540 every following month
this is excluding money you get from refering people (5% of their money is added to yours as a bonus)

It appears that this place is a known scam site.... who knows.

This is a total scam

Might indeed be a scam - I've read posts on boards from people swearing it is, and people swearing theyv'e gotten paid. If anyone (myself included) gets real $$ (check, paypal, ect) post it, so we can confirm.

They would lose money if they paid you.

I have personally confirmed this as a scam just for fun. They ban ur account during payday and say it was an accident and un ban it after payday.

Theres gotta be a catch thats like free money or "money grows on trees"
