Gold Dupe : GW Submissions

Hi all!,
This is how to dupe money:

1. Put in 1 gold
2. Put in 2 gold
3. Put in 3 gold and work your way up to *How much gold you want*
4. Submit your offer
5. Wait for them to accept
6. Then Disconnect/Un-Plug your network card.
7. Quickly go back to Guild Wars and also accept
8. When you get the "Guild Wars was unable to comeplete the operation" error message, press "ok"
9. Connect/Plug in your network card
10. Log back into Guild Wars

Now you and your friend should both have the amount of money that you offered !

It is also good to do this trick on your friend and split the profits

yea its just the image that stays the same. exit guild wars and re-enter and tell us if you still have the same ammount of gold. if you do then i will try it out and we can see how well this works.

worked for me! i tried it with 15k and it didn't work. i didn't do the 1 gold, then 2 gold, then 3 gold etc but when i did this with 1k it worked.

i kept my 1k and the other player got 1k.

can we get a double confirmation on this? Coryd also did you relog to make sure you both actually kepted the gold and it wasnt just showing extra gold.

can i get more of an in depth description on how to do it..?

Yes, I have a brother with a computer right next to mine. If you give me a more in-depth walkthrough, I can test this with perfect synchronization. I'll give a confirm if it works.

Why do you have to put in 1 gold, then 2 gold, then 3? Can't you just put in 10 plat if you want? Can you explain the reasoning behind that? I just tried and could not get this to work.....

....I put in tried it your way and it did not work. When I disconnected and hit accept, then waited until I got the message, my brother said the trade window remained open. However, when I hit 'ok" and connected, I loaded into a different district and my brother said that instantly (meaning the same instant I zoned in) the trade was cancelled.

Not recommended for premium.

Faeth i believe that was an error of your own, try it again, ive done some experimenting with disconnection dupes before with GW (but not with gold, just with items) and i never ended up in a different district...

care to explain how, after disconnecting, you end up back in the same district? It's random which district you connect to, right?

So then, wouldn't you have to add a step to the instructions: "Only do this in zones with 1 district" ??

because when he says disconnect, he does not mean disconnect from the game, he means pull the Ethernet cable out of your router, wait a few seconds, proceed with the steps, then plug it back in.

oh and i did this in my guild hall with a friend.

I did disconnect my cable, not out of my router but out of my computer (no difference)

I then tried to accept, but it did not go through, instead it froze for a while, then I got the message "Could not complete the operation" and I was back at the login screen. My brother reported that the trade window continued to stay open.

When I logged back in, I entered a different zone and my brother reported that the second I logged in, the trade was cancelled.

thats strange.. maybe you kept it out too long?

id like to say that i never got this to work but im assuming its possible. if the original poster would come around and say what router he was using, internet source and a few other things it could possibly be repeated.

also, did your brother press 'submit offer' and 'accept' before you got disconnected? cuz that could have effected the outcome.

whats your in game account name cuz i could try it with you if you would like.
