I know of two people that got banned. Aces_high told me on AIM when he got banned. Also, my friend Mike got banned, too. He had a +7 Chitin Bow on Olympia in his Inn. Hopefully, in both cases, it's 15 days.

they found out the people who were using 3rd party programs because they updated hackshield with a rootkit to search what processes are going on on your computer
so anyone with anything suspicious looking was banned

actually KO's TOS is screwed up and needs updating for what they are doing
I read most of it and scanned through the rest and it says nothing about banning someone for 3rd party programs. It also says nothing about scanning your computer with hackshield(but i know they do, because a mod at ko forums told me so). the only thing it says about scanning is that if you ask for customer assistance then they have the right to scan your computer for further investigation.

I don't think that they are even allowed (even if they wrote in TOS) to even touch our computers. Thats frigen computer hacking.

Well when you agree to there terms of service you agree that they can use a rootkit to check your processes!
Read before you agree!
