Dear Knight Online Community,
Recently some of our loyal players have reported to us that they have received spoof emails linking to fake Knight Online Websites that ask for you to download a “change password”. This is a fake site trying to obtain your game information. We would like to inform you on this issue and offer you tips on how to secure your account from 3rd parties. Please note that:
- K2 Network does not use knightonlineworld.com email addresses for Customer Support purposes.
- We never require you to enter account information on a page that cannot be accessed from the Knight Online website (
www.knightonlineworld.com). Sometimes you may receive an email from us that contains links however you will NOT be required to submit any account information. Please note that the purpose of spoof email is to lead you to a website and attempt to collect your account information.
- We never ask you to provide passwords, or other account information through email. Do NOT send any account information using email. We will NEVER ask you to send your account password or other account information, such as verification of purchase history.
- An email you received from K2 Network or Knight Online will not include attachments. If you receive a message that appears to have been sent from K2 Network or Knight Online that includes an attachment, DO NOT open it!
- When in doubt, go directly to the Knight Online website for announcements (
www.knightonlineworld.com). Make sure you sign out when you are finished, especially if you are using a public computer.
Thank you for choosing Knight Online.
- The Knight Online Team
