KO - The Scout Mission. : KO News

Even with the news of Akara's return, the war still ravages on. Plans are thought up. Actions taken. The war never seems near to an end. As it is, the two parties have decided to learn about each others strength and weakness. Each side has decided to create a small party of scouts. They were trained to be fast and silent. They were to enter the enemy base and learn whatever they can.

The day was upon them. The time is right. The scouts were ready. With the signal, they rushed out into the colony Zone. Dodging arrows, hammers and blades, Running, making their way to the opponants base. Will they succeed? Or will they end up as another lifeless corpse, rotting, decorating the now morbid landscape.

Fear grips the scouts as they prepare for their mission. Each one looks at the other, wondering if they will see each other again. All hope that if they were to die today, it would me mercifully quick.

The time draws near. The first of the scouts looked out to the lands of the colony zone. Each one in their own thoughts.

The signal was given, and the scouts took off. Many of them decided that the back approch would be more safe, as there would most likely be less chance of a confrontation. on the other hand, if there was an enemy scouting party, they would be defenceless. Gritting their teeth, they moved through the back lands of the Colony Zone. This time, they were lucky. For most of the battle took place in the bowl and therefore left the scouts alone and unmolested. The El Morad scout was the first to arrive in the Karus base. There she was spotted once or twice but was able to escape from the base with the information gathered. Her pursuer gave up the chase soon enough after seeing that he was the only one.

The Karus scout however, had more or less better luck. Unhindered, he took the way less popular. Longer it was but safer. Upon reaching the human base, the Karus scout, satisfied with his progress, he made his way into the base. Making his rounds, he had forgotten to check how long more till his cloaking spell would ware off. Unfortunately for him, it did. Grabbing whatever information he had, he made a mad dash out of the base, with a small party behind him. The chase went on for some time. However, the Karus scout was able to elude his attackers and escape into the wilderness.

The day has been good on both sides, as both the scouts have made it back safely. What information do they hold. What will the information be used for.

Only time will tell.
