Each piece of goblin armor (e.g. helmet, pauldron, etc) gives the same hit point, mana/magic point, and resistance bonuses, regardless of class:
Helmet: +30 mana points, +15 resistance to fire
Pauldron: +50 hit points, +16/+16/+16 resistance to fire/glacier/lightning
Pads: +50 hit points, +16/+16/+16 resistance to fire/glacier/lightning
Gauntlets: +20 hit points, +20 mana points, +15 resistance to glacier
Boots: +20 hit points, +20 mana points, +15 resistance to lightning
Each piece also boosts a stat.
For rogues, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least:
Pauldron: +10 dex
Helmet: +8 dex
Boots: +7 dex
Pads: +10 health
Gauntlets: +7 health
The rogue goblin pads tend to be the 2nd most expensive, after the goblin pauldron, as some rogues like to use the goblin pads for PvP (player vs player).
For mages, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least for PvM (player vs monster):
Pauldron: +10 mp
Helmet: +8 mp
Boots: +7 mp
Pads: +10 health
Gauntlets: +7 int (useless)
For mages for PvP, the pads are the most valuable, because mp items don't work.
For warriors who want do deal out high damage, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least:
Pauldron: +10 str
Helmet: +8 str
Gauntlets: +7 str
Pads: +10 health
Boots: +7 health
For warriors who are provoking or tanking, here is how I rank the pieces from most valuable to least:
Pads: +10 health
Boots: +7 health
Pauldron: +10 str
Helmet: +8 str
Gauntlets: +7 str
For priests, there are so many different priest builds, so here they unranked:

Pads: +10 str
Gauntlets: +7 int
