Good news for those overseas wanting to play US servers : LOTRO - Discussions

"Recently, some players expressed their concern about our plans to implement IP blocking. After listening to our fans, we have decided to remove IP blocking in North America."

Announcement today on the Official LOTRO forums.


For those who didn't know EU countries could not play on US servers and US could not play EU. This broke alot of kinships in half as they couldn't play together.


It's nice that they listened to the community and got rid of the splitting. Problably at an income loss, they had some deal with the EU company.
