The Deed Log allows you to keep track of the many different accomplishments you achieve over your adventures in Middle-Earth. These accomplishments earn your character various Titles and Traits. There are 3 different sections to your Deed Log, which are defined by the different types of tabs at the top. The 9 gem-gilded tabs record your adventures through different lands of Middle Earth (more specifically, the region of Eriador).
Tuneses... Spider-Sting
There are both title rewards and trait rewards in this part of the Deed Log. For example as you can see above, slaying a large amount of Spiders within the Shire area will earn you the title of Spider-Sting.
Exploring can also grant you perks.
If you are a curious adventurer then you can also gain traits from the exploration of the land. For example, visiting all 6 renowned farms of the Shire will earn you the Tolerant +1 trait. You can see the progress of each accomplishment by clicking its title on the left and viewing the requirements and rewards on the right.
An example of some of the Class-specific accomplishments.
You can also gain rewards based on specific accomplishments within your chosen class. This is displayed on the 1st tab of the Deed Log. As an example Minstrels that uses their Ballad skills the required amount of times are rewarded with the Harmonious Melody trait, which can be equipped to your traits panel at any bard.
Even avoiding death long enough can earn you a special title.
The 2nd tab is reserved for Race and Social accomplishments. Different emotes, like smoking pipeweed, or cheering your teammates, as well as other miscellaneous activities will earn you titles and traits in this section. If another player uses the “/scold” emote on you a certain amount of times you will earn the title of “The Naughty”.
Really, the Deed Log is a great addition to a game filled with things to do. Not only do you have levels to gain and gear to discover, but the Deed Log gives each player hundreds of more objectives to strive for, making sure you’re always able to find something to do in Middle-Earth. Make sure to “/scold” me if you see me wandering about the land… I want that “Naughty” title.
