being in a group or raid are big helps's depending on what class you play tho changes fights dramaticly.

I seriously doubt raid speeds your ranking. Solo is the key.
In raid you get like 2-4 infamy for kill, solo kill nets you about 100.

yea but in a raid you can kill a ton of people at one time.

Don't be in a raid.
Hug the zerg/raid (just dont be in it)
Play a BA and just tab and fire dot everything.
Or....
