Crafting
Pretty sure we all know about vocations by now, it's like a crafting job consisting of 3 professions. You cannot pick any 3 professions, but can only pick 1. Since I am a woodsman in game, I will tip on the easiest way to level up

Woodworker
The best way to level this profession up is to create hafts and buy the neccesary blades to make a spear. You will end up losing money, but it is the best way to level up the skill. Eventually as you progress and can make rare yew recipes you can make those and sell it at the AH for some nice cash, and since price isn't stable yet you can still make some nice cash for the lower-tier items

Forester
Fastest way is to buy at the AH, but you can also run along the Shire to the borders of Buckland (Bree) and collect Rowan Wood, you will get about 40-50 per trip and you can make that into Treated Rowan. Collect leather as you progress through quests, and you will be surprised how much you have by the end of the day. Ash wood can be found in early North-Downs, and Lone-Lands. Yew can be found deeper inwards.

Leveling
In this game it is best if you do quests instead of grind. Grinding is much slower

1-7 Do quests around Archet or your starting area. Don't skip the introduction as they only take about an hour to do and have enough quests to get you to level 6. The remaining quests in your s tarting area will give you enough experience for level 7 and by the you will probaly be on to the next town.

8-11
Continue questing along the next town, in my example its Combe, use the quest line to your advantage do those that are closest to each other or require you to go to the same place (Chetwood).

11-17
By now you should be questing around Bree and the Barrow-downs. At level 15 visit your class trainer and do the quest.

17-26
Lone-Lands

26-33
North-Downs

33-36
Esteldin

36-40
Angmar

Getting the cape of Isildur
To get the cape of Isildur, you must buy the June issue of PcGamers 2007 and enter the 25 digit code into your account at http://myaccount.turbine.com

Getting an 18 agility bracelet
Complete chapter 8 of book 2 in the Lone-Lands

Traits
LOTRO has a interesting way to create some character individuality. This is by the use of traits, which are gained from serveral methods. These are: Race, Class, Legendary and Virtue. Gaining traits are done differently for each but all are equiped by visiting a bard in Middle Earth. Traits are gained as follows:

Race: Gained from killing creatures that have racial hatreds.
Class: Gained from using Skills/Spells of you chosen class.
Virtues: Gained through exploration of Middle Earth or Purging the lands of foul creatures.
Legendary: These are gained through the location of Books and pages.

Hunter Tips
Skill order : (melee)
Trap > Focus > Quick Arrow > SwiftBow > Penetrating Shot > Quick Arrow > SwiftBow > Penetrating Shot

By then he should be dead or within melee range, so just quickly give him a Barbed Arrow and finish with Scourging Blow

Skill order : (fighting a ranged mob)
Focus > SwiftBow > Quick Arrow > Penetrating Shot > Swiftbow > Quick Arrow > Barbed Arrow (probaly running towards you now) > Scourging Blow/Quick Arrow

Killing 3 yellow mobs solo
For this Cry of the Predator has to work on them

Start with the SO (skill order) for melee, kill one of the one that is not trapped, and Cry on the other non-trapped on once the first one is dead. The trapped one should be released a sometime during the fight, just release Rain of Arrows once he is released for some AoE and continue to kill them off.
