Registering for KMS! : Maple Story - Submissions

Step 1

First you will need a korean language pack, or else you cant do much of the registering and cannot play without.

You can download the language pack from either of the links. Install language pack then go to Start->Control Panel->Regional and Language options->Advanced tab->Make sure Korean is checked and you chose Korean in the drop down tab.
Then go to the Languages tab->Details->Add, then add korean language and click Ok. Then apply and ok, a restart may be required.
So now you got the korean language pack so lets move on.
Step 2.

Now you will need to download the game.
Go to this link to download: http://maplestory.nexon.com/
Then click on the Download tab->Game Install->Run.
Ok so now your downloading the game, so lets register before the download ends so we can play rite away =).

Nexon ID


INSTEAD OF CREATING A NEXON ID PLEASE USE THIS PUBLIC ACCOUNT I MADE, IT WILL SPEED THINGS UP AND PRETTY MUCH UPDATES MY TUT.

WHEN SIGNING UP FOR KOREAN MAPLESTORY USE THIS AS THE NEXON ID / PASS

ID - NgVirtz03
PASSWORD - localacc

As far as I know a nexon account can register as many maplestory ID'S and other nexon.com games as you want, so please feel free to use this one to make all the accounts you want.

You will still need a valid KSSN, if you cannot find one, PM me and I will check you out and make sure your not one of the kind of people who like to misuse SSN's. (Also thank you whoever edited out the KSSN, I came on to do it and it was already done xD)

Alright step 4, lets create that korean maplestory ID.
Go to this site: http://maplestory.nexon.com
Click on this button

Then you will be taken to the terms of agreement, click on the orange button

Now you will need a KSSN, this is how you would go about getting one.
Go to: http://www.google.com
Then click on advanced search, insert a 6 digit number and select korean as the language, this part can be very hard or very easy depending on where you look.
But if you want to be more private on which one you use then use this link and search through the many pages for a KSSN.

Now this is what you do with the KSSN you insert the name in the first box then the 6 digit number in the second box, along with the 7 digit in the 3rd box, then click on the OK button, as seen here.

Now you will be taken to a page that looks like this, just click the orange ok button to proceed.

Ok now you will need to fill out your form for your maplestory account, do the following, where it says CLICK HERE click on the empty white box and a new window will pop up.

Now in the new window you must enter an active email address, then click on the small orange button to confirm it.



Ok now when your done with that click on the big orange button to finish and if it was sucessful then you will see this window.

This means Congratulations! Your account has been made!, now with one Nexon ID you can make as many maplestory accounts, as long as the KSSN are different and the email is different, the email address you put for your maplestory account is your account you use to login with.
example: If you put your email address as testaccount1@yahoo.com for your maplestory registration, your login ID will be testaccount1@yahoo.com. =)
Now this is how you start the game, when playing korean maplestory you dont just double click your icon on your desktop and it starts, you must go to the site.

then login with the email address and password you used in your maplestory registration, if you see a blank character in the top right like this.

When you see that just click on the big "GO!" button and it will start maplestory for you .
