This is nothing huge, but a nice trick. If you've ever played a class with a blink style teleport or roll in any game you know that you can blink or roll before you hit the ground and not take any fall damage.
Every class in Neverwinter has a dodge that this works with except for the Guardian Fighter. However, you can BLOCK the fall damage. Now, maybe you have tried this before and are thinking "no you cant, it takes you out of block when you're falling." This is true, which is why what you need to do is force your character into block. If you fall while you block you'll notice that your at wills still change to the specialized blocking at wills. So just hit one of those before you hit the ground. It will force you into block to usr the abilities and when you hit the ground it blocks the fall damage.
Hhh
Here's a quick video I made demonstrating this. The first time I fall I'm simply blocking and end up taking fall damage. The second time I use my ability and block it.
