I don't mean dungeon bosses per se, I mean the bosses at the end of quest chains and what not. I'm leveling a Control Wizard and I did scoundrel's retreat. I realized I could kill the boss with two hits, and figured I'd share.
It's simple really. 1. Run to the edge of cliff and let the boss follow you 2. Throw down your arcane singularity, pulling and temporarily locking the boss at the edge of the cliff. 3. When the boss drops, pop off your shield or repel and knock boss off of the cliff. 4. Boss dies a presumably painful death at the bottom of the cliff.
I thought back on other bosses and even large packs of mobs that I could have been doing this with and there's tons. Allows for a much easier and Speedier leveling process.
I was going to go back and record it for you guys but the damn place is now closed up. Sigh

I have seen this used in various foundry missions. They were banning people for doing it, but now that they have reduce the xp gain per hour, it seems its ok to do these tactics again.

Oh they're still going nuts about that for sure. But what they're going after is people mass farming. They can obviously tell when somone is gaining way too much stufff in way to little of a time. Which is why the xp cap is in place.
But this is more for "skipping" encounters that people seem to find difficult to do solo. Its not an enormous deal (until I can find a way to make it one) but it does save time, effort, and annoyances.
