Mouse not recording : EQ1 EverQuest 1 Discussion

I started doing some skill ups today in smithing and when I attempted to play back my mouse pointer just sat there. I went back and tried recording keystrokes and they worked fine. I have checked the mouse only option and mouse/keyboard option but it still won't record mouse actions. What am I doinig wrong?
