the best? It all depends on what you like more: Running around on a 10000x with a +25 bow 1shotting everything.. OR 5-50x which actually requires you to level up your char and gain "status" with BOSS jewels and your +10 SA wpn, which you spent like a month farming for(in some cases).
Like I said it all depends on what you like.
For me a good server has: Active GM's that actually react when something is clearly messed up, no or +0 wpn donations. Rare Custom areas, little downtime, and preferbly something unique. As for rates Im more of a 50-100x since Ive done that grindfest one too many times.
Servers I can recommend.
L2 Renewal(l2renewal.net) - 50x server Interlude- with NPCbuffers(2nd class) and custom areas, 600-1000peepz online, theyre moving to Hellbound real soon, and they probably gonna wipe so Ill suggest to wait until it is a HB server.
l2Hostile - 100x Gracia pt. 2, stable server, very active GM's, tho, NPC buffers(has all buffs). Only downside is the population, its kinda low atm, maybe around 100-200 peepz at the most.
On the other hand just check out www.gamesites200.com then lineage 2 section for more priv servers, and see which one u like.
