L2 Windowed Mode : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Could u make it so L2 could be duel logged? If there is a way i have not found it. I have found a *.ini file that makes it able to run in a window but the game client itself wont let another instance open. thx~

Are you just using one account key? If so I don't think it's possible to do. If your have two though You may be able to duel log if you install into two different directories, not sure though.

I have two different keys and 2 different accounts i can play. I copyed over my L2 directory and tried it should i install a second version of L2 and try it that way?

Yeah I'd try a fresh install in a different directory and see if that works.

Go into window mode

Alt+H
Alt+Ctrl-LeftShift-Enter
Go back into full screen

Alt+Ctrl-LeftShift-Enter

View your client in window mode.
Very handy when you expect an important mail
or wanna chat in another program while
waiting for your HP/MP bars fill up again. : )
Place these files in your system - Lineage 2 folder.
Backup your orignal L2.ini file.
Then rename this file into l2.ini,
fire your baby up and your in window mode.

There's yet another article up on the windowed mode
allowing a player to use 1 computer to play on more than 1 account.
This time, they make you download a zip file,
and put those files in the system folder of the Lineage II game directory.
If it is a fresh install of the game,
first patch the game and then install the zip file.
Apparently people experience the second account being disconnected a lot
and they do not know really why yet.
They ask to make sure you are using accounts with different registration
numbers perhaps, etc. etc.

Please note, that all of these attachments are untested and to be used at your own risk.

With this file you will be able to zoom out further then your client accual let you.
You wondered how some people recorded those video with a zoomed out camera further then you'r able to ?
Well with this user.ini file you will be able to do this too.

Use:

Unpack this file with: Winzip or winrar or any unpack tool you use.
Go to your lineage2/system/ folder
Find file user.ini
Rename it to user.tmp (in case you need your original file back)
Then copy past this downloaded user.ini to your lineage2/system/ folder.
That's it, now use that scroll button on your mouse to zoom out.
