SWG Cheat - Wear your collection cloak as a non-Jedi : Star Wars Galaxies Exploits

With either the cloak of hate, or shatterpoint in your inventory, drag it into a container, also in inventory.

Next drop the container, pick up the other cloak (NOT the one inside the container you just dropped), and equip it.

And to finish, pick up the container containing the first cloak.

If you try to unequip the cloak you are wearing, it should block you from doing so with an on-screen message. If you respec, the cloak should stay equipped also.

When you try to put a collection cloak in a backpack in a house, you get the message:

"Cloak of Hate may only be equiped by the owner, placed in the owner's inventory, or place in the owner's bank. This item may *not* be placed in containers other then top-level inventory or bank."


Do you even test the stuff you try and put up here? If you think that someone is going to Yay you without testing your crap you're wrong.

Do you even have the two cloaks? I think that if you did, you'd test this a bit to know it has no way of working.

Well gee, it gave you a message box, I guess it must be true. No, the message box is incorrect. It isn't top-level inventory only.

Drag and drop it into a pack in your inventory. That was the folly of my instructions, and if you had spent a little extra time figuring out how to get the cloak into the backpack, rather than thinking up your silly little retorts, you might've seen that.

And this is where the problem occurs. I had it slightly wrong, you drag the cloak into a backpack that is in your inventory, not one this is inside a structure. You then drop the backpack, giving you a container with the cloak inside it, inside a structure.

Edit: Linked the video below. It shows how to achieve the end result of wearing the collection cloaks as any class. You'll note the on-screen message at the end of the video as I try to unequip the cloak of hate. So long as the backpack with the other cloak is in your inventory, the cloak of hate can't be removed, even when respecing.

As you have finally post in you last post, this does work and I'm a commando wearing the Cloak of Hate. I'm not sure how usefull this is and sure you'd get busted in a minute trying to PVP with this:

Trying to put the hood up or down after you have respec removes the robe.

Of course it works. I've been here a long time (have never paid for a membership), and I don't post non-working crap.

Much like any exploit, if you flash it around too much, you'll get caught. I had a medic on starsider in the cloak of hate for few months doing instances, etc, and running about with no reports or problems.

I suspect PvP would bring about many reports though.

Glad you guys got this working. Once again, I would move this to a confirmed section, but my keys are missing.
