In case you guys don't know, the bank command has been there LONG ago, and you can interact with some items inside. Actually, > 50% item can be interacted with right-click, which is really useful. Those include:

You can eat and drink items in bank, but not auto eat and drink.
(ADV: You don't need to bring any food and drinks along with you, they are always placeholder of bags.)

You can scribe any tradeskill books, spells in bank.
(ADV: When you dinged, you don't need to return and take out the book from bank.)

You can inspect any quest item in bank to update quest.
(ADV: Very useful for some book type quest, but not suitable on some quest which you MUST bring alone the quest item with you.)

You can equip any item which you are capable to equip.
(ADV: Once you select equip on bank item, the one your are currently using will be switched with the one in bank. You can even do teleport transfer, just un-equip current equiped item and "remotely equip" items in bank. Most useful when you wanna give something to your friend.)

if you want to examine something that is in your bank, all you have to do is open the bank window with the above command, and drag the item you wish to examine to your chat bar. click enter, you will /say the item name which you will be able to click on and examine. you can also /tell, /gu, ect. the item to show it to someone else. doesnt work for quest items or books to start a quest however.
