If you're just starting out, or you just don't yet have a feel for Jump to Lightspeed, here are a few tips that might help.

This is a compeletly different game than what you are used to on the ground, a few old habbits need to die. Fast.

LEARN TO GROUP. A lot of people on the ground have gotten very used to spending their time in solo combat. JtL simply isn't built that way. It is highly recommended, and in some cases almost requied to build a group. Even if it is with only one other person. XP works differently in space. Each person that does any significant damage to a target (about 5%) gets FULL credit for the kill. The mission layouts will always provide more targets to kill, it's not like on the ground were you have to “waste timeâ€
