looseing a mob : EverQuest 2 Submissions

hope this one works, when running from a mob if you click the bar at the top of the game window (when in the window mode) your game will lag out, hold that for a few seconds and the mob will keep chaseing "you" but when you let go, the mob will be way ahead of you (if you hold it long enough you can loose agro) and you will stay where you clicked the bar be sure your running when you do this or else the mob will stand there pounding on you... and no one wants that

hopes this works as in gets me access hah i have tested plenty of times

just checked out how long ya should hold it before ya actually loose agro, i held it for 10 seconds and agro was off, you can also do this trick to solo harder mobs with ranged weapons and spells, just hold down for about 5 second, cast/shoot, rinse and repeat

hah last rply to my own post (cant find the sdit button :/ ) i find this works best to lag a mob into guards just to be positive they are off ya, or perhaps when yer lvl 10 runnin through Nek

Quick question, never tried any of this type of suggestion but when your saying grab the bar while in windows mode are you meaning left click and hold the top bar of the window (i.e. the EQ2 window)?

yes...or you can just right click and then you dont have to hold the button. if you left click, you have to hold the button. if you right click, then what you have to do is left click in the screen when you want it to go back. its the same as the super jump....

but you can still unplug your connection and escape
