EQ2: /ponder still working, for now... : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

As most of you know we used to be bale to do "/ponder XCreature" and we would be able to tell if a certai mob was up in the zone. This was very useful to hunt rare spawn mobs.

Recently they killed of this feature in a patch, and now it appears to no longer work... or does it!

Here is the deal (for now, as they will probably path fix this soon).

/ponder Xcreature will return 1 of 2 results (make sure you have nothing targeted).

either
CharacterName ponders.
OR
CharacterName ponders .

Notice the space between ponder and "." in the 2nd version. If the space is present, the creature is up. Simple enough.

returns either

if it is not up

you point at
if it is up

/wave still works somewhat

it will return

waves to.
if the mob is up

waves
if the mob is not up

I have not had any problems using /ponder. I did not use it yesterday, but I know it was working two days ago.

Wave is still working as well. Just used it a couple of minutes ago.
