the point? : GW Guide Discussion

Not to be picky... but what is the point of even offering a free membership when all the information is for pay members only?

The free membership is for the basic game discussion forums. They don't wanna give out memberships for exploits, etc.
FYI - there really isn't any info for Guild Wars.

Info isnt for pay only. We want to build a stronger community. Since GW is very new you can easily submit all types of information and get a free account. Also keep in mind for guid discussion and other areas you can awlays ask for help and we will try to help people the best we can.

you should at least give a sample of what there is to offer. why would i join and find nothing in the forums how do i know?

Yeah I would never Pay to find out the info you have in your site with no sample..and not a sample that EVERYONE with a brain knows either....


Come off that 30k an hour "exploit" and I'll give you my money

if you think about it it's pretty much 2$ per month...and eventually info will pop up that is useful (as i've seen so far)...plus there's more then one game so the info is always useful and everything gets updated constantly.

so its not that big an investment

Another way to look at it is that often any cash exploits, for example, it is quickly patched once it hits the general public. To take advantage of this you need an advanced "heads up". Having a subscription is a great way to do this.

Oh 30k an hours that easy just get a good team to hold HoH

yea too bad most of the teams are unorganized and lose the 1st or second battle
