EQ2: FD Exploit : EverQuest 2 Nerfed Info

First, grats on merger. weeee! ... I gots me premium membership payed again. Love all you guys and gals for posting!

Was in RoV and decided to see if my old FD trick still worked. Hunting jailor for the "Half pint help" quest. I killed jailer and FD'd, well, holy smokes if the bugger dinna reset and repop. Killed him bout 10x in 2 mins to get my update. Tried it on the Servants of Varsoon too. Killed one in the duo groupes, fd'd and .... reset, 2 repopped again, same with dust bats. Saved a lot of time waiting around

I tried up on surface with grouped centaurs. they just poofed completely. For all you bruisers out there, give it a go. Fun and free exp too if it works in your zone.

Yes this works on any group of mobs.. This exploit is the reason SOE took away Stilletos helpers. I was doing the GB quest the other day in CoB.. i just kept clearing 1 ire out of a group and would FD, new group would respawn. I did this until i spawned the spectre

If you don't have FD you can run and break encounter, I use this all the time to finish book quests for badgers, antalope, skellies etc.

SoE does look at all this stuff we post. I know for a fact.
But with much bigger issues to handle some of our exploits dont
make the top of the nurf list!

lol yea if you think about it - a handful of people read these boards compared to those who play

even a smaller fraction of that actually have the FD skill to use this exploit i dont think this hits the top of their fix list by a longshot hehe

I have used this aswell in the lower zones for quest update. However, I've found that it only works with mobs that are grey to me. I tried this in SS on the Dervish Cutthroats and Sandscrawlers groups for writs and the whole group does not re-spawn.

Maybe it's just me but tried it several times.
