PL and still lvl @ that same time : FFXI Submissions

this is how me and my friend pl our lower jobs its easy.
go to Bhaflau Thickets a prime zone to lvl bst 70+. make an alience with ur lower lvled friend and u (as a bst or other jobs that can solo) exp. ur exp will not be cut and ur fried will get free exp. have the lower lvled person use empress band and thats it. very simple and make ur friend want to lvl bst if ur friend is extremely low lvled (1-40) have them sit on choco while u exp.

np i'll get my bst friend and i'll snap a pic give me a day or so.

There is a system in place for reducing exp gain with multiple people - that should kick in here.

Is this a bug with the new area that noone has actually tried before? Can you shot a screenshot of the acutal XP the characters are getting, or give some numbers please?

Regular members are allowed to post in here I believe. As well as being able to upload what they are submitting. Plenty others did, why didn't he?

He basically gave us almost nothing. We don't know what the levels were of the characters, the xp earned on each one, screenshots showing this.

Since we have nothing to go on, this should be turned down. I say Nay.

They can post, but they can't reply to others post or view others post.

He can edit replies into his own post. That was what I did to get my premmy.

It's not a 'nice' solution, but it works.

We need to find out what is going on with this like asap! this could make leveling a job so much easier.

Don't go getting to excited. It's only premium worthy imo if it can be proven to give more exp than it should.

this does not work, I took a lvl 15 thf to sea and killed Sharks and the lvl 15 got jack squat

I agree that it should not work, and most likely does nothing, I haven't had time to test yet.

However in his defense, he did say "go to Bhaflau Thickets" which is a new xpac area...

My thoughts on the reason that this has the posibility of working are...

New xpac has a bug

Posibility of the Sanction bonus XP being bugged to where low jobs mixed with high jobs that should normally not obtain XP are, and noone has reported this yet. Or tested it due to them having no reason to try since it doesn't work in any other area since the game started.

Those are 2 possible reasons that this MIGHT give any xp versus the norm of nothing. So I still think I, or someone should test this in a new xpac area having a sanction on for the low level. I will try when I get time.

He is saying to do an Alliance.

I dont think this will work but no one has Verified if it does or does not work.

well if you arent trying it in an alliance then you arent doing what he said. I havent tried it yet, but it seems pretty obvious that you just create 2 pts, boot all members but stay pt leader, create an alliance, and then go killing...

it may not work, but if you arent doing the above, you arent following his directions.
