Exploit : t7 rares from T3 Mobs - : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

ok so here is what happened, my guild and i are all lvl 20 - 28ish, we all mentored down to level 24 and got a ' writ raid ' ( a raid to get status for the guild from qeynos harbor) anyway, we all zoned in and started to kill the trash mobs and a chest droped with a dragons hide pelt in it .. i thought ah wow t7 rare pelt, maybe its just a mistake wont happen again, then we did another raid and an Xegonite cluster droped from a trash mob. i wanted to do again to see what else we could get to drop but there went enough people for a 3rd raid.

i am not sure if this works in all tires or even if its ment to happen, i dont think it is t7 rare from t3 mob is wrong..

I believe thats ment to happen. The loot scales with your average player level, i don't think it takes into account your mentored status.

no its not ment to happen lol, level 28s mentored down to level 24 ..

What raid zone did you enter? And what trash mobs?

The ' Writ Raids ' from ' Qeynos Harbour ' trash mob are mobs which arnt named

Hrm, i'll have ta give it a go.
Anyone else able to confirm this?

Sorry, dont really think my guild would want to take time off raiding t7 to raid t3 for t7 rares

Though its pretty neat if it works.
