SWG Tricks: level new pilot squad with high level components : Star Wars Galaxies Guides

this is well known on the swg forums but i have always considered it an exploit and don't believe it is intended.

the heavy variant ships are able to be launched by a pilot with only a box or two in pilot. if you currently are a high level pilot, you can load one of these ships with high level parts. when you drop that pilot squad to start a new one in that same faction, you can start your grind as a novice level pilot with level 8 engine and weapons that you aren't certed for.

the heavy variant ships have around 90k mass. they are the z95 headhunter for rebels, the heavy scyk for neutral and heavy tie for imperial.

you will save a lot of time one shotting level one ships and also doing the low level patrols at high speeds much faster than the starter ships.
