Earn high Status for your Deity with repeatable quest : EverQuest 2 Premium Discussions

Ok here it comes:

I have done this with Havras "Hack" Scutter Quest Line in Loping Plains. As most of you remember you need to retrieve three Fabled Items. The Hand of Glory, Dom of the Elani and the Blackwater Mask. Unfortunately these items are Level 150 Fabled.

So we have three possibilities now.

1. Wait till expansion come and we become Level 150.... Nah we won't do that.
2. We can turn in the items to Hack and finish the quest

or and this is the nice part:

3. We pray to our God and sacrifice this item. Since it is Level 150 Fabled you get a nice 1250 Status points for that. When you have done this you delete the quest and just do it again. A very nice way to earn status for your god fast and you don't have to sacrifice items that are otherwise sellable.

Items that are no value are not accepted as donation by altar. And Blackwater Mask is no value.

It definately works with Dom of Elani as I have donated it myself and repeated the quest a few times. I just assumed that is works with the mask as well bit since I am repeating the quest I havent gone past the Dome step yet.

I have gone back with one of my characters that didn't have the quest yet and I have to correct my posting. This only works with Dome of Elani since the Hand and Mask are flagged no value. Sorry for the misunderstanding but I always did it with the Dome so I assumed it would work on the others too.

So if you read this it only works with Dome of Elani.

The last LU fixed this bug and it cannot be sacrificed anymore

Can another premium member confirm this to be nerfed as well.

I never tried it, but the patch ntoes for the latest update specifically mention that these items can no longer be sacrificed, take it as confirmation on nerfage direct from SOE, imo.

Well since we got the official statement of SOE that the exploit did work I wouldnt mind a few points.
