Will Vanguard Be Ready : Vanguard Discussion

Think its going to be like horizons? Or will they actually pull off a decent release just days after the BC comes out.

I think its going to do fine actually I hope they push back the release date one more time because I want my friend to get his computer ready but also because they need to fix more content. When they have everything they promised Im fine with release...until then this "WoW Killer" is still in diapers.

Ehh im not sure on it actually. Its not going to be a WOW killer. WOW is for all comps. This game is for high end comps so it cant beat wow. Only game that will have a chance is conan and warhammer. As they have killed LOTRO by making it AC 2.2. DDO was AC 2.1

Lots of people on WoW had higher end computer though.

the game now is a very playable game.... 2 months ago, hell, 1 month ago I was concerned about the state of the beta and the impending launch date....Now, any fear I had about an 'unfinished' game being rushed to market is gone. The game is looks and plays great and the major bugs that have plagued the beta previously are fixed.
Is the game perfect? no, but what game is at launch...? Furthering my excitement for the game is the way in which the dev team responds to issues/bugs so quickly and how receptive they are the community and our suggestions.

IMHO, go ahead and pre-order the game...like all MMORPGs, tweaking will continue to better the game post-launch - but it isn't the mess it was a few months ago. It's a very polished product.

Yea but it doesnt matter how good it is donw the launch most games get the first month for yays or nays.

well all you need to know is that Vanguard owns WoWs beta time and hell it owns WoW up to patch 1.5 so any of you who say its unstable you didnt play WoW beta and you dont know much about starting MMO's VG is golden and its gonna own althought I say they are releasing it a wee bit too soon just because I wanted player cities at launch

there are bugs but it's playable.

technically MMO's are never "ready" persay.. something always needs fixing.. but the 1/20 (i think that was the date) patch really refined it to the point of me being satisfied and ready for launch. God knows what kinda goodies/surprises theyre gonna have finished/put in during the downperiod from the end of beta to launch time too.

All in all I cant frigign wait.

I think im gonna buy a new graphics card until i get a new computer. I owe you the money I'll give it to you like sunday hopefully.

Will a Geforce 6200OC with w256MB DDR be good?
Or should i take it back and spend 50 more dollars for a 7800?
