I'm just saying that increasing the skill level of abjuration works on invisibility slightly and does nothing to buff spells; same with increasing conjuration, the stat increase from the summoned ring of a sorcerer will only get better as the sorcerer increases in experience levels, not conjuration skill levels. took me a LONG time to max conjuration and ring powers remained the same because skillpoints only incrase your % chance TO HIT, not actual damage done, etc. Only way to increase damage done is to level up attributes, get buffs, and equip stuff that increases damage for say, arcane spells. skill level is unrelated to the damage, but IS related to the %chance to hit.

pretty much all he's telling you to do is autorun your charecter against a wall, then spam any non-agressive, self-target skills you have, in order to increase their level. (Err... this really isn't a cheat or an exploit, considering that this is simply "how you level up skills") even if you are not in combat, if you use a skill, it has a chance to increase in rating (anyone ever play any of the Elder Scrolls games? This is how you increase every skill in that game; it's considered "practicing" in that game). Anyways, if you're a healer, u can set autorun and just keep triggering the hotkey to self-heal and you'll gradually level up healing (woohoo! too bad increasing your healing skill has absolutely no effect, however, I suppose you could "brag").

Ok, to clarify a few things.
1st: This is *considered* a exploit, as stated I definatley have the knowledge to comprehend what a exploit is. Exploiting *was* my job for over 3 years.
2nd: Leveling up *any* skill is beneficial to your character in one way, shape, or form. Granted it may not be much, but you receive the benefits from mindlessly spamming a hotkey during travel and such, there is no need to complain.
In conclusion, I thank you all for finding this helpful and allowing me access to this wonderful community.
Any further questions, I'll address as soon as I can. I'll be out of state until next week, so until then.

There is a increased effect, the higher the skill, the less likely you will be blocked, and the more potential for a "Critical"

Yep, if u fully read the thread, I mentioned that it'smost significant for offensive spells or weapon skills, but has 0 effect on stuff like Energy Shield (abjuration), Ring Summonings (Conjuration). And usually exploits would mean say... finding a way to where u cast something and it would increase your skill each time u simply usethe key. As I said, again, before, if you ever played Elder Scrolls, u do this very process aforementioned to increase every skill (considered training), but hey, i'm not a co*k-blocker, enjoy your reward. Just know that we were likely alldoing this long before your post coz it's just common sense.

I'm glad it's common sense for you, but for most it isn't.
Just spamming a key? No, that's not in the instruction booklet, and no, not everyone knows that this can increase a skill from 1-50 in less than 5 minutes.
50+ people now, have sent me e-mail's in regard to this helping them in one way, shape, and or form. Why complain for content that was never posted? So many knew, yet never spoke of it.
-Thank you for your time, in vanguard we trust >
PS. We got our memberships the same day *laughs*. So you shouldn't be a "co*k-blocker" about anything =)

I dont care if it is an exploit or guide or something useless. All I know is that using this info increases your abilities thus allowing you to hit higher targets. Who cares if you dont get more dmg, its all about being able to hit them consistently in pvp. 4 resists from your opp is death and if raising your skill means you wont have any than im all for a yay.
one of the defintions of exploit on dictionary.com
"to advance or further through exploitation; promote:"
so it works and thats all that matters, if he found one he'll find another big deal move on.

Ok from reading this "exploit" i quickly realized there was alot of extra... if its a self buff then you dont need to auto run you just stand there and cast it lol...
Ok now for a universal way to skill up. This requires a second person because it requires you to duel.... you simply join a duel with a friend and spam the ablity with the skill you want to get up or just melee with a weapon you want to skill up... hopfully no one dies but if you have a ghost mouse program or something like it then you can go afk and come back with max skill. ( works best at level 50 using level 1 weapons and lowest level spells =P)
If this hasnt been said before do i get cred for it ? lol even though its another uncommon fact and is accepted by GMs ( minus the ghost mouse program and afking )
